The story begins in Metroville, New York City; six years after the events in Florida and Alaska. Rachel is now Captain of the Metroville Police Department and Luna is a third year student at Metroville University. Addison and Madison begin 6th grade and Silvia, for now is the stay-at-home sister.

Silvia starts her day getting off Grand Terminal Station on her way to the payment agency a few blocks away to pay the mortgage of the house with the money Rachel gave to her. She meets up with Jeanette Nichols, an old friend of hers since middle school. The two catch up on old times while waiting for the payment to be completed. Meanwhile, a man with a backpack enters the station with and leaves empty handed. Then a few hours later, the station explodes killing everyone inside.
