JANICE TOMLINSON
DESCRIPTION:
Janice Tomlinson is one of the secondary characters in the graphic novel series, "My Life as An American Hero". She's an FBI Agent, a good friend of Rachel's and Lisa's cousin.
APPEARANCE:
Janice dresses business casual. She's mostly seen in her black suit with a white dress shirt underneath and a purple tank top below it; along with her FBI badge around her neck. She has Navy blue hair tied up in a ponytail and emerald green eyes.
PERSONALITY:
Janice loves Lisa very much and cares about her safety. At the same time, she also cares about her FBI Comrades. She ranked number one of new FBI Recruits is very intelligent when it comes to Federal Investigation.
PLOT:
Janice first appears after the C.C.P.D is attacked. She gets a distress call from Lisa telling her that they need help because all of the officers in her division, accept for Rachel, are all dead. As Janice tried to head to the scene to assist her, she and her team are ambushed at Kirkman Road by several troops of the Black Brigade. Eight of her team members end up dead in the shootout. More B.B Soldiers appear at the scene as they continue to fire at her. She then replies to Lisa that she's unable to assist her because she and her are under heavy fire, but in the end were able to kill all the soldiers. Once she arrive at the East Division, she sees that it already collapsed from the explosion. She then gets words by one of her recovery team members that Lisa's body was the only one
recognizable found under the rubble even though it was severely covered with dust and third-degree burns due to the flames and debris.

Janice then arrives at Biofare facility with new information she learned from higher sources about the Cocoa City Attacks and the group that was behind it all. She meets Ponce and the Valentine sisters after they learned about Phaganson's attack to capture Ponce and obtain the Vitanium files.

She reveals to them that the Black Brigade was behind the attacks as well as the Massacre of the C.C.P.D and that they've tried doing similar attacks like that to Biofare Facilities in Chicago and Metroville and reveals to the Valentine sisters that she is Lisa's cousin. As she continued, the Black Brigade attacked the facility, Janice and Rachel armed themselves as they come face to face with Joan, who reveals that she was the one behind the Cocoa City Attacks, C.C.P.D Massacre and the ambushed at Kirkman Road that killed eight of Janice's agents. Janice, along with Rachel and Silvia, gets caught in the explosion, but survives thanks to Silvia's
Calcium defense. Once outside she, Rachel and Silvia are surrounded by Joan and her unit, but is able to fight, thanks to Silvia's instant attack on Joan, giving her and Rachel the opening to fight back against them. They take the fight inside Cleveland Boulevard Metro Station where more BB terrorists continue to fire at them. She witness Rachel awakening her Sniper Mode as she kills each of the soldier with head shots. As Janice fights back, she gets shot on her left shoulder. She tells Rachel to head down and kill the last remaining terrorists before they escape. After Rachel leaves, she is then rescued by Stevens; her partner as he takes her to the hospital to get surgery.

Janice makes a full recovery and learns that the Valentine sisters have eliminated the Black Brigade, avenging their parents, Lisa and all the victims that were killed in the attacks. She calls Rachel and asks if they can be alone at the cemetery to remember Lisa as not only one of Cocoa City's top Rookie Officers, but one of its finest. They continue to stare down at her grave remembering all the good times they had with her. To Janice, Lisa was like her little sister because when she was a little, Janice always took her on ride-alongs when she was a Police Officer and how she told her that when she grows up she wanted to be a Police Commissioner, the same goal that Rachel wants to achieve. She then thanks Rachel for always watching her back and for being a close friend to her; which builds Rachel's relationship with her. Rachel then tells Janice that she will carry Lisa's dream and make it a reality by saying that once she becomes Police Commissioner, Lisa will become one as well. Janice smiles and leaves for a few weeks to Columbus to support her aunt and uncle, Lisa's parents.
