DESCRIPTION:
Luna Isabelle Valentine is the Tritagonist in the graphic novel series, “My Life as An American Hero” She’s a 7th grader at Palm Valley Middle School and and the youngest daughter of John and Evelyn Valentine. She cares very deeply for her family and likes to keep the piece between her two older sisters. She enjoys dancing and eating fish food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. She has a huge crush and deep feelings for Kyle.
LUNA VALENTINE
PERSONALITY:
Luna has a pure heart since she's the only one out of the three Valentine sisters who's not into fighting and doesn't like violence. She's more of the peacekeeper whenever Rachel and Silvia start arguing, she steps in the middle to stop the fight like a sports referee, but when things get out of control between the two, she goes straight to her parents to stop the problem. She's also extremely kind-hearted and likes making friends with people. She's not really a fan of athlete or good looking guys, but she does make friends with them. However, she does have special feelings for Kyle.
APPEARANCE:
Luna is the shortest of all the characters in the series; five foot and an inch tall and wears different kinds of clothing. Her school uniform is different from Silvia's since she's in Middle School. For school she wears her green shirt with a gold collar and the school's name on it, along with a gold skirt, green knee socks and black Mary Jane shoes. Outside of school, she wears various outerwear. Her looks attract a lot of guys in her school, At age 12, she has the body of a preteen model.
PLOT:
When Luna arrives to Florida with Silvia and their parents, she gets happy for sharing a room again and excited to start a new adventure, but gets into an argument with Silvia because Silvia doesn't want to share the room due to the fact that she has stuffed animals in the boxes. Silvia the takes

When she does takes him from her, Luna yells at her to give him back, but instead is pushed hard to the ground, thus injuring her wrist. Luna then runs to Evelyn with her injured wrist. Deep down she wanted her bond with Silvia closer and closer, but got difficult since Silvia matured.

After school, Luna heads to Palm Ridge where she crosses path with Ashley and Dawn, the most popular girls in the school. They begin to bully her because of her relationship with Silvia who early caused a mayhem during lunch. Luna with very small amount of courage told her that she wasn't afraid, causing Ashley to attack her, but Silvia was able to save Luna using Calcium Defense.

Luna and Silvia leave to ACU (Atlantic Coast University) to spend a couple of hours with Rachel, who was packing to head home, but weren't given a good welcome when Rachel saw Silvia. Luna watched as her two older sisters started settling the score after match that Rachel lost six years ago. She was trying to keep the peace between them so neither one could get in trouble, but was ignored because of their rivalry. Luna sees Rachel preparing to badly injure Silvia so she steps in to interfere and tells Rachel that what she's doing is wrong and that she wants the sister that was always listening to her whenever she had problems and that she misses the sister that was kind and humble and always looked after them and the sister that is supposed to be a role model her and Silvia. Those words changed Rachel as she decided not to attack Silvia anymore. Luna smiles and thanks Rachel for listening as she and Silvia head to the nurse office to get patched up.

Luna usually stays at the hospital due to the face she's not allowed to be alone because she's too young. When the World National Bank was attacked, Luna learned from Evelyn that the World National Bank was attacked and to head down to the Emergency Medical Bunkers. She runs down to the elevator and calls Silvia to head to the hospital, but couldn't contact her because she left her phone at the restaurant. She waits at the bunker for about an hour and heads back to the lobby and hears Evelyn screaming crazy after Rachel tells her that she and Silvia were unable to save him and the rest of his coworkers who were trapped. When she heard it, she began to cry with pain.

At the funeral, Luna mourns heavily for John's death. She wonders why they attacked the World National Bank and why he had to die, but later hears Rachel and Silvia exchanging words at the hallway and banging on the wall. She runs to Evelyn and tells her. Once home Luna, continues to mourn inside, not believing that John had died while Evelyn talks to Rachel and Silvia. Her grieving is preventing her from trying to bring peace between Rachel and Silvia.

A few days later, Luna returns to the hospital from school. She heads to the hospital library and writes on diary about Kyle and as her feelings for him continues to increase. She blushes every time she writes about him and remembers the first time they met and blushed at each other. It is revealed that she likes Kyle a lot but knows that she can't date him yet because she's too young and Evelyn will not allow it. Afterwards, she waits for Evelyn to go on lunch so she can take her home, but hears an announcement about Code Green. She wonders why and gets confused since she doesn't know much about the codes. Not knowing that the Black Brigade attacked the C.C.P.D and Redshaw arrived at the hospital to confront and eliminate Evelyn, She finds her, but gets caught in line of fire as Redshaw prepares to launch a laser cannon at the hospital. Evelyn cries out Luna as the laser fires. The two survived the blast, but were unconscious for a couple of minutes. The two head down to the lobby to take the elevator down to the Emergency Medical Bunkers, but are confronted by Redshaw, who already killed Diana. Luna sees Redshaw pointing his gun at Evelyn and begs him to not shoot her. Evelyn tells her to get as far away from the hospital as she can, but Luna refused to leave her alone. She was too scared to even move after witnessing Diana's corpse and a gun pointed at

her mom. After Evelyn refused to tell Redshaw about the Vitanium's location, he loads his and says his good byes to Evelyn, Luna tried to stop him, but was too late as he pulled the trigger, killing Evelyn in cold blood right in front of her. Luna was extremely traumatized watching her mother die in front of her. She immediately runs to her corpse with tears in her eyes and turns to Redshaw asking him why he shot her. Redshaw tells her that she's lucky because she wasn't worth killing her, but warned her that if she tries to interfere in his operation, he will blast her brain all over the wall. As he leaves Luna begins to cry heavily, trying to wake her mother up, but was unable to. She hugs her very tight, not wanting to let go. Soon after, Silvia and Rachel arrive too late as they see her holding her corpse. Luna tells them that he killed her. Rachel and Silvia were traumatized seeing Evelyn dead, that they nearly ran out of options. Soon they are
confronted by Smithers, who tells them that is not safe to be in Florida anymore. Luna, still too traumatized stays quiet as she and her sisters are taken by Smithers to Biofare Research Facility outside of Washington DC.
Luna, along with her sisters, arrive at Biofare where Smithers escorts them to a bunker underneath the facility. He explains to them that Dr. Ponce will be arriving soon to talk to them. Luna stays silent after everything she's gone through. She sits in the couch still traumatized. Seeing Rachel and Silvia arguing again, Luna tries to stop them from arguing again because she couldn't take it anymore feuds. She then heads to the refrigerator to get a snack and finds canned food labeled and two bottles, one Hydrogade and another that says Enerjuice. Thinking that it was for them, She takes the Hydrogan and the can that says "Seafood" and starts eating, while Rachel only takes the Enerjuice. Soon after, Dr. Ponce arrives and tells them about how and why their parents past had to do with the Cocoa City Attacks and the man that was behind it all. Luna doesn't believe how it all happened until she realizes that John and Evelyn did it so that human beings can use the Vitanium's power in order to defend themselves from any future lone wolf attacks. She sobs deep inside realizing that both her parents were the real heroes.

After listening to Dr. Ponce's story, Luna wonders why someone who was close friends with John and Evelyn would want to kill them in order to obtain the Vitanium for power, but Rachel is just as confused as she is. So she asks Silvia who's still in deep thoughts about Dr. Ponce's story. She takes a glass cup and as she stares at it, water starts appearing out of no where. Silvia

witnesses it and realizes that Luna awaken her Hydrogan. Luna then faints because she overused it a bit, plus she's feeling the Vitanium's effect. When she wakes up, she says it's impossible because she doesn't possess any powers. Silvia decides to test her by telling her to do the same thing again. So Luna glares at the glass up again, but as the water emerges, it begins to burst as fast as it would go through a fire hose and it's splashes on her. She struggles controlling it. When Phaganson attacks the bunker, Silvia and Luna head to the elevator while Rachel distracts him. Silvia then tells Luna to stay with Dr. Ponce while she heads back down to the bunker to assist Rachel.
Luna learns that the Hydrogan she drank contained Vitanium, the same mineral that were in the Power Shakes that gave Silvia her powers and abilities. She also realizes that the Black Brigade was behind previous potential attacks that were prevented years before the Cocoa City Attacks and learns that Lisa was killed in action when they attacked the C.C.P.D. Just before she went further, Joan and her unit attack the facility. Silvia tells Luna that she has to fight and Rachel tells her that she needs to stop being afraid and start acting brave, but she refuses because she doesn't want to fight. Luna and Dr. Ponce get separated from Silvia, Rachel and Janice when Joan threw a high explosive grenade; causing a portion of the building to get severely damaged, As she and Ponce were trying to escape, they ended up getting captured by two soldiers from the Black Brigade and were taken to their facility in Kuala Lumpur.

While in the facility, Luna wakes up in a cell and is taken two torture room by two BB Soldiers where Ponce is held next door. She gets beaten by the soldiers after Ponce refuses to tell Redshaw the location of the Vitanium. Soon after she decides to tell him, but Redshaw tells her to wait until he comes back from making his announcement to the President of the U.S. Soon the soldiers get the order from Redshaw to eliminate Luna. She starts shaking and begs them to not kill her. As they begin to point their guns, Luna begins to glow as water starts coming out of the floor.

Luna looses her cool and unleashes her full power. She launches water on the soldiers and breaks the door open. Dr. Ponce realizes that Luna obtain the power after drinking the Hydrogade. Luna then runs over to her as both try to escape but as they try to, the entire facility is alerted. They run all over to find a way out but are surrounded by various BB Soldiers. As they prepare to attack them, Ponce tells Luna to use her Hydrogan, but Luna is too scared to fight back. She closes her eyes thinking it's over, but Evelyn's spirit appears out of nowhere. She tells Luna that there's nothing wrong with fighting for what she believes in and that God is not going punish and will
forgive her because of how pure her heart is. Luna finally understands and gains her confidence back. The soldiers, thinking that they killed them both,
see Luna protected in a force field. Luna then tells them that she activated
Salmon Mode. Similar to Silvia's Calcium Defense, Luna can create a force field made out of Salmon skin which possesses Calcium. She was able to protect herself and Ponce. Ponce then realize that Luna not only drank the Hydrogade, but ate the can that said "Seafood", which also has Vitanium and gave her fish food abilities. Soon after, she reunites with Rachel and Silvia. Once they finally get together, they get a message from Joan, who's at the monitor telling her that if the want to end this once and for all, to meet her at the Warehouse District in Seattle.

Luna awakens Salmon Mode
When Luna arrive at the warehouse district with Rachel and Silvia, they start searching for Joan and Redshaw, but then are ambushed by several BB soldiers. Luna tells Rachel and Silvia to go and stop Redshaw while she takes care of them and explains that it's time for her to defend herself and stop relying on them because they're not going to always be there for her.

Silvia and Rachel get surprised to how much she's changed since Cocoa City Attacks. So after they leave, She then activates her Hydrogan and transforms the entire zone into a body of water, thus sending several of the soldiers into the lake. She walks towards them and tells them she's only someone who wants answers to why they're doing something like this, why they want to cause harm to innocent people, but then gets ambushed by several more B.B soldiers that appear on the roof. She then uses her hydrogan's power and creates a wave to wash all the terrorists out to the ocean. Afterwards, she heads to find Rachel and Silvia and sees Rachel about to get shot by Redshaw. She tells Redshaw that it's his last chance to let her go, but he continues to taunt to her.

Luna's attitude begins to change as she begins to show bravery. She awakens another special ability called "Piranha Mode" Her eyes transform into piranha eyes
and her teeth change into piranha teeth. Redshaw suddenly sees a change in Luna's eyes and personality as she charges straight at him with instant speed; thus bashing hard enough for him fly several miles to the docks. Luna slowly walks to him as deep inside, she doesn't want to kill him, but hoping he would do the right thing and surrender to the FBI.

Seeing Redshaw is injured because of the damage he took, Luna gives him a final chance to stop everything he's doing and to tell Joan to cancel the satellite's destruction, but is soon stopped by Rachel, who tells her that there's no point in begging him to surrender because he shows no remorse for everything he's done.
Suddenly an attack chopper appears behind him and begins attacking them. Luna tries using her Hydrogan to control the water from Elliot Bay and disable the chopper's engine so it's forced to make an emergency landing, but misses due to the fact she still struggles to maintain complete control.
As Redshaw prepares to finish her off, she's saved by Silvia; who uses her last portion of her Protein Cannon to destroy the tail of the chopper, causing it to crash near the pier; killing the pilot, but Redshaw was able to survive. Luna, along with Rachel and Silvia walk towards Redshaw, who's badly wounded and her las words to him were that he and Joan caused a lot of suffering to so many innocent people then she turns away while Rachel executes him in cold blood.
A few days after the battle with the Black Brigade, Luna and her sisters stay at Ponce's apartment to recover because of the exhaustion and how much power they used. They get a call from President telling them that he would like to award them with the Presidential Medal of Freedom. She attends and received them then enjoy their dinner with him before they head back down to Florida. Since then, Luna's life and a portion of her personality has changed forever, but then Rachel tells her about going to beach for some R&R. Luna agrees and asks if she can invite Kyle and Cheryl along with them. Rachel agrees as she smiles.

At the beach, Luna thanks Rachel for bringing Cheryl and Kyle, but Rachel asks why Kyle had to come. Immediately, Luna jumps in to defend him; leaving Rachel speechless. Little by little, she blushes when she sees Kyle. She spends most of the time playing volleyball with him. The truth is, her feelings for him continue to grow more and more as Kyle starts feeling the same way. At the they start building their friendship more and more closer. This was the beginning of Luna's relationship with him.

POWERS AND ABILITIES:
Luna possesses water and seafood abilities after drank the Hydrogade and ate the can of seafood that has Vitanium in it; thus giving her ability to control water and use the abilities of the fish that are healthy for us. Their power can increase tremendously whenever she's in an area near water or water itself.
HYDROGAN:
This ability allows Luna to manipulate and change an area into a body of water. She can also use it to attack the enemy.
SALMON MODE:
This ability is similar to Silvia's Calcium Defense. The moment her eyes change, It allows Luna to create a Salmon Shield to defend herself against powerful attacks and builds her body with huge amount of Protein Energy.
PIRANHA MODE:
Up to now, this is Luna's strongest ability. It increases her speed; allowing her to attack instantly like a piranha. Whenever she makes contact with an enemy, she can send them flying hard.
