DESCRIPTION:
Rachel Marie Valentine is the Deuteragonist in the anime graphic novel series, “My Life as An American Hero”. She’s a member of the Cocoa City Police Department and the oldest daughter of John and Evelyn Valentine. She loves her three younger sisters, but has a huge sibling rivalry with Silvia when it comes to martial arts and also argues with her the most. After graduating Magna Cum Laude at Atlantic Coast University with a B.A in Criminal Justice, she was immediately accepted into the Cocoa City Police Department after graduating the academy during the summer of her junior year where she ends becoming the best shooter in head shots. That’s how she gets the alias name, “Sniper Chick.”

RACHEL VALENTINE
BACKGROUND:
Rachel was born three minutes before Ramona.They shared a powerful bond together until the Al-Jarrah Hotel bombing changed her life forever. Thinking the Ramona was killed, Rachel was traumatized and was unable to sleep for a month that she went to attend therapy. Thinking that Ramona died, She felt deep down that a piece of her was gone forever
Like Silvia, Rachel loves MMA and she's a fan of Kelly Araujo. She join the MMA Junior league at age eight and became a 5-time Mix Martial Arts Champion her first five years. After learning Silvia was interested in MMA, Rachel introduced her to
PRESENT:
Rachel is now in her last year at ACU (Atlantic Coast University) and became best friends with Lisa, whom she met in freshman year. She explains to her about how she couldn't get over the lost to Silvia six years ago and wants a rematch. Lisa tries to convince her to let go of the past and to move on, but Rachel gets too caught up in it.
When Silvia and Luna arrive at the campus, Lisa escorts them to the senior dorms where Rachel awaits them.
Her educational career was hell when a nerd fell in love with her because he thought that she was Ramona due to the fact that they were identical twins. Since Elementary School, all the students started picking on her and thinking that she was dating a nerd. In High School, her locker was vandalized by her fellow student peers. It was at that moment that Rachel started building hatred for nerds and why she didn't want Kyle anywhere near Luna, which Silvia later finds out.

At the final round of the MMA All-Star
Championship, she and Silvia battled it
out for the belt. It was confirmed that if Rachel would win, she will be placed in the MMA All-Star Hall of Fame for being the first and youngest fighter to win, back to back titles since her inaugural season, but Silvia ended the streak.
Rachel then glares at Silvia and tells her that she wants to settle the score with her, but Silvia declines saying that it was six years ago and to let it go, but again Rachel refuses to leave her past behind. With no other choice, Silvia accepts her challenge as the two sisters glare at each other like two boxers ready to go before their match.

PERSONALITY:
Rachel can be rough, but she does love her family very deeply. She sometimes show tough love so her sisters can learn more. She sometimes calls Silvia an idiot because
sometimes she can do crazy things, she took anger against her after her defeat. When she first meet Kyle during the R&R at the Oyster Beach, her hatred towards nerds was exposed, but the fact of the matter is, she has really has a soft side, but is hidden deep down inside.
During their battle, Rachel unleashes her rage towards and blames her for the embarrassment she caused her during the tournament. Lisa and Luna tried to prevent them from fighting before they kill each other, but the two sisters continue to go at it. Rachel gains the advantage before Silvia nearly knocks her out her with her punch. Soon after, Rachel regains the advantage by nearly beating Silvia brutally until Luna interferes. After hearing her, Rachel then relaxes and decides to listen to Silvia's situation. At them time she was closer to Luna than to Silvia, but because of Luna's words, Rachel has decided to put the past behind and move on.

COCOA CITY ATTACKS:
A week after Rachel graduated, she and Lisa began their first day on the job at the East Division of the Cocoa Police Department. Rachel was busy putting parking tickets for double-parked cars when she heard a distress call in her Police car stating that there was an explosion at the World National Bank was attacked. She rushes to the scene worrying about her dad, who's trapped on the upper floors.
As she and Silvia, who arrived after hearing news, head up to the upper floors to try and save their father and as many people as possible, but made the ultimate sacrifice when John told them that the building was at the brink of collapse. Rachel then grabs Silvia and leave the building leaving their father at the brink of dying from his injuries. It hurt her a lot for the sacrifice she had to make, but deep down she knew he was a hero. Successfully, she and Silvia escape the building as it began to collapse. They land on a rooftop a few blocks away as Rachel watches the building coming down. Lisa contacts her and asks if their father is safe, but Rachel replies with a 10.54 (Cocoa City Police Code for negative) meaning they couldn't save him or
any of the other victims left trapped inside. She also tells her that she will tell Evelyn everything. At the funeral, Rachel gets blamed by Silvia for John's death. She and Silvia fight in the hallway and Evelyn runs to stop them. She and Evelyn tells Rachel that she should be more mature and learn how to control herself.
C.C.P.D MASSACRE:
As Rachel hears the news about the collapse of the World National Bank, Silvia appears and tells her that the attack was an inside, but just as she's about to give her details, the Black Brigade attacks the Department and storm in; fighting and taking out all the officers.

Rachel, along with Silvia fight back through the entire unit. Soon after, she goes on ahead while Silvia deal with the other troops and finally catches up with Lisa and R-39, who are pinned down at the Stardust Cafe. She enters bullet time and eliminates the soldiers with Lisa and R-39's help, but soon gets angry when one of the soldiers kills R-39. She kills him, thus avenging his death. She and Lisa head to the west corridor of the department until they come across another wave of B.B troops. While she

continues to fight the terrorists, she hears a gunshot coming from the background where Lisa was communicating with Janice. She heads back and finds Lisa shot point blank in the forehead. She kills the soldier thus avenging her partner's death .
ATTACK AT BIOFARE:
After learning the background of their parents, Rachel, along with Silvia and Luna spend the night at the bunker underneath Biofare Facility outside of Washington DC and learns more about John and Evelyn's past from Dr. Ponce. Afterwards, she lies down in the bunk bed thinking deeply about the situation. Soon Phaganson appears with a gun; trying to kill her and her sisters. She and him go on a serious firefight which in the end, Rachel ends up killing him, but is then caught in the blast by the grenade Joan throws to her, Janice and Silvia, but thanks to Silvia's Calcium Defense, all three survive the epic fall, but are surrounded by Joan and her unit.

SHOWDOWN AT THE METRO:
Rachel and Janice continue their firefight at the Cleveland Boulevard metro Station with more of B.B troops reappear. Rachel realizes that they're planning to hijack a metro train in order to
make to escape. Janice then gets shot in her left shoulder, but tells Rachel to stop them the moment Stevens and several FBI SWAT Agents arrive. She continues her fight down the station and chases them down the station to the Gold line Metro train as it takes off with her
inside. During the ride, Rachel continues fighting several of the troops inside until she hears an announcement about the train rigged with an atom bomb. Her gun runs out of

power leaving her out of options, but she starts bursting lightning out of her fingers, thus gaining the ability of Static Mode, allowing her become a human taser and generate electricity from her central nervous system. Thanks to Silvia, Rachel was able to disarm the bomb with her electricity thus stopping the train a few miles away from the station and preventing an apocalypse in the nation's capital. After the action, she and Silvia learn that Luna and ponce were both captured and taken to the Black Brigade's base outside Kuala Lumpur. She tries calming Silvia down after hearing what Joan and Redshaw's conspiracy. Fortunately, the President was kind enough to let them go, because of their powers and because Rachel was able to stop the train before it reached the station.

SHOWDOWN AT THE WAREHOUSE DISTRICT:
While Silvia heads after Joan and Luna deals with the first wave of BB troops, Rachel squares off with Redshaw. She and him battle it out but get separated as more troops arrive. After she takes them out, she gets ambushed as Redshaw attacks her with a steel pipe, thus knocking her out unconsciously and about to be killed until Luna saves her. After she beats him, Rachel prepares to finish him off until one of his attack choppers appear and starts shooting at them.

While Silvia heads after Joan and Luna deals with the first wave of BB troops, Rachel squares off with Redshaw. She and him battle it out but get separated as more troops arrive. After she takes them out, she gets ambushed as Redshaw attacks her with a steel pipe, thus knocking her out unconsciously and about to be killed until Luna saves her. After she beats him, Rachel prepares to finish him off until one of his attack choppers appear and starts shooting at it, but because of its Bullet proof armor, she's struggles to take it down, but Silvia arrives and shoots it down with the last amount of energy from her Protein Cannon. Rachel, along with Silvia and Luna, walk towards him as she points his gun at his face. She tells Redshaw, "Justice has been served" and then pulls the trigger; thus overkilling him in the face various times.

POWERS AND ABILITIES:
Rachel has combat and Vision Abilities after she drank the Enerjuice back at the bunker.
SNIPER MODE:
This is the first special ability Rachel gains. Once she bonds with her gun, It not only improves her vision tremendously, but her
eyes transform into target eyes. From her vision, she can see like a sniper due to the fact that eyes become the sniper scope. It also allows her to get complete head shots with out fail.
STATIC MODE:
Rachel gains the ability during her battle with the terrorists at the Gold Line Metro train. In this mode, Rachel generates electricity from her central nervous system and can unleash lightning from her hands, fingers or whole body. Her hair changes its shape, but color stays the same and her eyes change into electric eyes.
BULLET TIME:
Rachel gained this ability naturally. Somehow, she learned how to dodge bullets while training her combat skills during her months at the Police Academy.
NIGHT VISION:
Rachel gains the ability to see in the dark without the use of Night Vision Goggles. She awakens it, when she and Silvia arrive at the Black Brigade Facility.
