Karen Miller Redshaw was the wife of Clifford Redshaw and mother of Joan Redshaw. She
was a Federal Prosecutor who was successful in putting terrorists who were a threat to the
United States in the death penalty and daughter of former FBI Agent Seymour Miller.
PERSONALITY:
Karen loved her family until Clifford’s obsession changed everything. She made a sacrifice
taking the job as Federal Prosecutor because she wanted a wonderful future for Joan and
wanted to protect her. She cared for Clifford because they met at the same time Clifford was
working for his PHD until his obsession changed all that.
PAST LEADING TO HER DEATH:
Karen arrived Clifford's office in Metroville and had an altercation with him because of his
obsession with power. After learning about his conspiracy, she called the FBI to have him
arrested and sent to federal prison. Unfortunately, Clifford escapes and disappears for a few
days.Joan learns about hers and Seymour's plot to stop Clifford and decides to kill her. So
after she returned home after a long day at the Prosecutor’s office, Joan grabs a meat
cleaver and stabs her deeply in the stomach, thus killing her. She then calls her father and
escapes with him. A few days later, neighbors find her body and call the FBI. Three months
afterwards, it was confirmed to the FBI that Joan was the one who murdered her and is now
a member and founder of the Black Brigade.

SPACE NEEDLE:
Karen (as a spirit) sees Joan about to activate the Satellite. She then stops her and tries to reason with her about her being radicalized. Ignoring her words, Joan goes berserk and activates the satellite, taunting her by saying "are you proud of me now?"
When Silvia arrives at the Space Needle, Karen talks to her and explains about Joan's past. She then asks her to put Joan out of her misery because deep down she's been suffering for the past two years. Karen then gets emotional after Silvia tells her that she wasn't a bad mother, she was only doing what every mother would've done; the ultimate sacrifice to help her child have a descent future.
After Silvia kills Joan, Karen stares at her smashed body. She hears Silvia thoughts about completing her part of the agreement and apologizing for the way things ended out before flying off to help her sisters. She then thanks her for what she did.

THE WAREHOUSE DISTRICT:
After Clifford survives the helicopter crash, Karen appears in front of him and tells about the damage he's caused to Joan and blames him of his obsession with power for her death. Clifford quickly denies it but Karen, with her strong words tells him that she loved the man that was there for her, not the man that made her into a terrorist. She then disappears before Rachel, Silvia and Luna arrive to finish him off.
