BLACK BRIGADE
The Black Brigade was a terrorist organization led under and established by Clifford Redshaw, one of the four scientists involved in the Vitanium Project in 2043 and recruited his daughter Joan Redshaw after she had killed her Mother, Karen Redshaw, preventing her from her exposing him about his future conspiracy theories with the Vitanium. The group is the main enemy in "My Life as An American Hero."
HISTORY:
The organization was establish in 2043. One month after Redshaw left Biofare after his altercation with John, Evelyn and Alice, he hired Smithers to deal with the financing while he secretly begins recruiting war-criminals, serial killers, terrorists from past organizations and corrupt militants. Redshaw learned about an abandoned prison outside Kuala Lumpur that would use as their headquarters and was able to purchase it thanks to Smithers' finance.
Weeks after, Seymour learned from several of his old colleagues in the FBI that Redshaw was the leader of the organization and told Karen about it; thus making her more worried and wanting to protect Joan, but Joan felt betrayed when she overheard her saying that she wants him in Federal Prison, which led her killing Karen. Joan calls Clifford and tells him that she wanted to join the Black Brigade and proved that she's worthy when she killed her mother. Clifford wasn't sure it was a good idea because he wanted Joan to have a future, but she told him that it's not a future without him in her life and she wanted to eliminate her Mom's bosses as well as blow up the job she worked on; blaming it for the reason Karen never spent time with her or Clifford. So he ends up recruiting her.
During the Black Brigade's inaugural year, Joan's first mission was to eliminate Federal Officials that know about the Vitanium Project. According to sources, she learned that the Javits Center in Metroville was used a front to store classified information about the Vitanium. Joan sent several troops to eliminate those who worked with Ponce and the Valentines and blow up the building leaving no tracks behind, however the mission was a failure because FBI Agents knew about the Black Brigade's whereabouts and were one step ahead of them. Of course none of captured troops told them that Joan was the one who led the mission.

Clifford then learns that the Valentines were planning to move to Cocoa City, Florida to get away from the threats he's given them while living in Metroville and discovers that John was going to be the new Bank President of the World National Bank. He meets with Joan and tells her to work on a plot to kill them. At the time, Joan was given the rank of Second-in-Command after she eliminated a Federal Agent that had close ties with Biofare in San Diego. So now the way the Black Brigades coordinates attacks like the president making a decision having congress and senate to decide if it's good or not. So whenever Joan comes up with an attack, she immediately meets with her father and he decides whether the project is a green light or red light depending if it can caused several casualties. When Joan came up with the idea about bringing the World National Bank Down, Clifford immediately gave her the green light.
COCOA CITY ATTACKS:
The night before the attack, Joan sent several troops into the World National Bank due to her system hacking abilities. Her men killed the guards and dump their bodies in a freight elevator underground while another planted the explosives in the core of the building and waited until morning when people were going inside to start their day of investment and trading. The mission becomes a success as the Bank collapses killing thousands of people (including John) and robots that were trying to escape.
C.C.P.D MASSACRE:
The Black Brigade's next objective was eliminate Law Enforcement so Clifford can reach Evelyn Valentine. Joan was behind the operation. Like the World National Bank she had troops plant explosives at several weak points of the North, South, East and West Divisions. She detonates them and her troops storm in killing every single officer inside. Of course Squads A, B and D succeeded on their mission, but Squad C was eventually wiped out thanks to Rachel and Silvia, who were only survivors. The attacked killed thousands of Police Robots and Officers (including Lisa) from every unit, but several BB Soldiers were killed in the gunfight as well. Several troops under Joan's orders were sent to intercept Janice and FBI Unit from reaching the city. At Kirkman road the get into a huge firefight with the FBI, killing eight agents, but are soon wiped out by Janice and several of her team members. The mission became a success and a failure. Success because no Law Enforcement were able to get to Redshaw at the hospital, but a failure because Redshaw never got the information he wanted from Evelyn and ended up killing her in front of Luna.
ATTACK ON BIOFARE:
The Black Brigade's next objective was find Ponce, eliminate her and obtain the files she obtain from John and Evelyn two years ago. Joan hires Steven Phaganson for the mission because he previously had clearance into Biofare. However the mission changed when she learned that the Valentine Sisters were there as well. It was later revealed that Smithers led the Valentine sisters into a trap so they can be eliminated. She tells Phaganson to kill either Ponce first or the Valentine Sisters first as long as none of them survive, but the objective fails when Phaganson is soon killed by Rachel. She then uses operation SWARM, allowing her troops to storm the building so no one can escape. They throw grenades and attack the facility; killing several scientists and one Janice's FBI Agents, Morgan. Joan then enters and reveals herself to them and explains about how the Cocoa City Attacks occurred. She then throws a grenade; causing Silvia, Janice and Rachel to fly several feet to the ground near Cleveland Boulevard station. Joan then reveals the she planted explosives to try and bring down the Monument down and also revealed that her men planted a small atom bomb on the train that Rachel was in. Of course that mission failed because Silvia saves the monument and Rachel disables the bomb, saving thousands of lives in the Nation's Capital. So they retreated by ended up capturing Luna and Ponce while Silvia, Janice and Rachel were distracted.
PROJECT BLACK:
Project Black was the Black Brigade's most deadliest plot. The plan was to launch a nuclear laser from their satellite to destroy landmarks and infect every single civilian in cities what were selected (Metroville and Cocoa City were among those selected) and use the country as their own empire. Of course the plan failed because Silvia destroyed the satellite and killed Joan while Rachel killed Clifford, ending the Black Brigade's future conspiracies once and for all.
